About Claude Code Merch

This store exists because we kept wanting a shirt that did not exist. We are developers who spend our working lives in a terminal, lately with an AI agent doing a lot of the typing, and we wanted merch that captured that specific moment without looking like a novelty gift.

Where this came from

Something genuinely shifted in how software gets built. Coding agents went from autocomplete party tricks to tools you hand real work to, and Claude Code, Anthropic's terminal-based coding agent, became the daily driver for a lot of us. New culture always produces new in-jokes, and in-jokes have always ended up on t-shirts. We just decided to be the ones printing them.

The designs come from actual use: the prompt, the plan, the CLAUDE.md file, the strange calm of watching an agent work. If a design would confuse someone who codes with an agent every day, it does not ship.

Independent, and clear about it

Claude Code Merch is an independent store. We are not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Anthropic, and nothing here is official Anthropic merchandise. We are fans of the tool making things for other fans of the tool, which is a tradition as old as band shirts sold in the parking lot.

How the products are made

When you order, your item is printed or embroidered specifically for you, then shipped from our production facilities, US facilities for US orders and international routing for everyone else. Most orders ship within a few business days of purchase.

We chose this model deliberately and we will be straight about the tradeoff. You wait a few days longer than warehouse shipping, and in exchange nothing is mass-produced on a guess, nothing sits unsold, and nothing gets landfilled at the end of a season. For a small store with strong opinions and niche jokes, it is the honest way to operate.

What you can expect from us

A small catalog we actually stand behind, designs that respect your intelligence, and plain answers when something goes wrong. Misprinted or damaged items get replaced, questions get answered by a person, and the FAQ says what it means.

If you have a design idea from your own sessions, send it through the contact page. The best material comes from the terminal, and yours is as good a source as ours.
